I am Camilla, I use she/her pronouns.
I am an Italian and American professor and game enthusiast. I work at Wesleyan University - my teaching and research are focused on innovative, reflective, and radical pedagogy at the nexus of L2 learning, open educational resources (OER), game-based learning, and tabletop game design. I teach a course called "Educational Gaming Lab", where students learn about principles of tabletop game design as well as why games can be fantastic tools to promote learning of all kinds. I also routinely present at international conferences about using tabletop games within pedagogical contexts, particularly in language learning classes and curricula.
I am passionate about all sorts of tabletop gaming, from board games to LARPs and escape rooms - but especially tabletop role-playing games. I am a player, a GM/facilitator, a designer, an editor, and a translator. I also haunt a few Italian Youtube channels to participate in actual plays or talk about new ttrpg indie games (find a list of actual plays and talks here).
This is a space to share my TTRPG-related projects: original games, translations, modules, and tools. Please leave comments if anything interests you or you have feedback - and please direct all inquiries to my email.
